PET TALK

    It's already past the middle of Feb. Can't believe how time flies these days. We've been really busy the last year taking care of our latest rescue kittens and their moms. Last April and May we rescued 5 moms and 23 newborn kittens. The moms are wild and we didn't know how it was all going to work out trying to care for the kittens and moms or even if the moms would let us. We just knew we couldn't let this continue, something had to be done. So we stepped out in faith, believing the Lord would take care of us and them. When we were able to get the kittens, we just stood back and watched the moms walk right in the pen with their babies. We had all five litters and their moms on our screened in back porch. Everyday we cleaned and cared for these precious moms and their babies. The moms didn't mind us handling the kittens. While we cleaned  the pens the moms just moved to the back so we could do what we needed to do. When it came time to wean them, we started moving the kittens inside, hoping to do all we could to end up with very gentle loving kittens. Some were adopted even before we moved them inside. We had some very awesome people come and adopt some of these babies. We still have some of them and if we don't find homes for all of them, it;s ok. We love them so much we feel like they are our kids. Love being with them everyday, never a dull moment. I will post more pictures soon. We give all the honor and glory to the Lord for all the work He did in all of us through this time. We certainly couldn't have done any of it without Him. God bless

I hope everyone is having a nice July 4th. There were fireworks earlier, neighbors celebrating. They were beautiful but Kandy and Kacey and most of my cats were afraid of the loud noise. I wish I could bring in the two ferel cats we have living in our yard. Especially at these times, I know it scares them really bad. We trapped them when they were kittens and had them spayed and neutered and gave them shots and rereleased them back into our back yard. They have a storage shed where we keep food and water for them at all times, and it's a place they can stay when they are scared or just to get inside because of the weather. It's Lucky's brother and sister. He goes out on our back porch, it's screened in, and he talks to them and watches them. Sometimes I think he would like them to be inside, too.

Another Monday is on the way, it's 1:59 A.M. Just finished on Ebay for the night. Still trying to figure out what to do about all of Ebay's changes. I can't afford to upgrade, can't afford the higher cost since I don't sell alot. If I don't upgrade, then my listings cost me more every month. For the small business it's a no win. Oh well, all I can do is try.

It's been a hard month, we lost a family member a couple of weeks ago. The next day after the funeral, I found Mama Cat (Angel) in very bad condition. She was fine a few hours before and when I woke up she was barely breathing. Her ears, nose, and mouth was yellow. After lots of tests, it looks as though she's having a reaction to her yearly vaccines. Her body is fighting against itself. I believe the doctor called it Auto Immune Deficiency. Anyway she is still serious, she's improving, but she has a long way to go. Please everyone pray for her. She's a precious little girl. She was all alone until we rescued her and her 4 babies. She's so small and she took such good care of her little ones. They are all grown now and still treat her the same as when they were small. They respect and love her so much. She's such a special little lady.I know God is taking care of her. 

It's 3:39 AM, I just logged out on Ebay. Working on the store due to all the new changes. Puppies are asleep, cats are getting their second wind, love to play late night-early morning.

It's Easter already. Seems like just yesterday was Christmas. Just wanted to say Happy Easter and remember our Lord Jesus Christ today and everyday.

Made it to another weekend. Saturday afternoon, quiet, so nice. Most of the "kids" are piled up in their special favorite places sleeping so they can play again tonight. They have lots more fun playing all night than in the daytime. Anyone that has cats know this!!!! I'm enjoying the sunshine, it's cold but beautiful! Going to work on my craft project that I have started today if I find the time.

Well we are a few weeks into a new year. Hope this year will be better than last. It's been a while since I updated my blog. I was so busy with Christmas, making candy and cookies, and getting gifts ready. We went to my Mom's for Christmas, got snowed in, it was a blizzard!!!! The wind blew really bad and it snowed all day Christmas Eve. 16 inches and alot deeper in the drifts. We ended up having Christmas on the 26th. Couldn't get together even across town the snow was so bad. It was beautiful on Christmas Day to wake up to a white Christmas and sunshine. We had to come home Sunday, luckily the roads had cleared up alot by then.

Now it's January and I'm keeping the promise I made to myself again this year. I'm starting now to work on Christmas gifts so I can do things I want to do for special people and family. I love to make my gifts, but I usually run out of time, so I'm going to start now so I have plenty of time. In fact, I've already started. More later!!!:)

Just another rainy Monday. So long without rain, now it rains nearly everyday. Can't complain too much, just need alittle time to get out and get the yard in shape. Weeds in the flower beds and grass getting tall. At least things are green again.

Been so busy working in my store on Ebay, I haven't had time for much of anything else. Lots of things I want to do to this website. Got to find a way to get traffic here. Not haveing much luck.

All my "kids" are doing great. All are well. Wish I could find a way to make a steady income on the internet, so Dennis could quit working. Maybe someday I will find something.

It's a typical Monday. Never enough time or money to do what we need to do. All I can do is just keep praying and hope tomorrow is better. Christmas is just a couple of months away. God will take care of it, he's the only one that can.

It's been a typical Wed. More work to do than I can get done. That's ok it will still be there tomorrow. I'm working alot on Ebay, trying to help out on the bills. We've got alot we don't need so I'm trying to sell it. Things used to mean more to me than they do now. When I lost Kodi, my whole life changed. I feel as though I lost my baby. I try to keep as busy as possible, but it still hasn't helped much. All I can do is to keep trying and praying. Maybe it'll get easier someday. It was a really nice day today. I recieved a gift of a Chihuahua Angel Ornament today from a really nice lady. It's nice to know there are still some very special people in the world. She will never know how much her kindness meant to me. The Chihuahua Angel Ornament she sent me looks so much like my precious Kodi. It makes me feel closer to him. I miss him so much.

Calico is the newest member of our family. She joined our family when she was about 8 weeks old. She's now almost 5 months old. She's a little clown, always entertaining the other cats and sometimes annoying them, just like kids will do! They let her get by with alot and never get rough with her. They know she's still a baby. I posted a photo in the photo album so you could see how beautiful she is. More later!:)
